About Out Patient Care
The Outpatient department of T.D medical college comprises six units, operating from 8 am to 1 pm, Monday to Saturday, with an atmosphere of healing and care.
Every outpatient is provided with computerized OP slips, adorned with E-health codes, alongside their address and phone number, manifesting a harmonious blend of modern technology and patient convenience.
Unit chiefs, along with Associate and Assistant Professors, Postgraduate doctors, and Interns, diligently examine patients, their expertise paving the way for precise diagnoses and the prescription of appropriate medications.
In the pursuit of comprehensive healthcare, patients in need of inpatient care for diagnostic and monitoring purposes are seamlessly admitted from the Outpatient department itself, ensuring continuity of care .
When patients require specialized consultations from superspecialty experts, are referred to the respective departments, where their unique needs are met with utmost professionalism and expertise.
Investigations like Complete blood count ,Renal function test, liver function test, Thyroid profile , Calcium, phosphate, Uric acid , Iron studies , peripheral smear , viral markers , Tumour markers , Fever panel, Fasting, postprandial Blood sugars, HbA1c , Hematological profile ( DCT, Rh ,blood grouping typing ) Electrocardiogram ( ECG ) , X-rays , CT Brain, thorax , abdomen ,KUB , MRI scans , are sent from OP department to the centralised Laboratory of the hospital
For those who arrive after the closure of the Outpatient department, the compassionate staff guides them to the casualty department, where their needs are met promptly and efficiently, ensuring uninterrupted care
Doctors in the General Medicine department provide individualized care to each patient, enlightening them with profound insights into their disease, imparting knowledge about disease prevention, emphasizing good hygienic practices, offering dietary advice through medical nutritional therapy, and prescribing exercise regimens. Multidisciplinary consultations are conducted, fostering a collaborative approach to healthcare, while follow-up visit dates are diligently advised, ensuring ongoing support and monitoring.
